Meet the Chinese coffee that comes from selected fields in the Yunnan region, which Sucafina calls "Originals".

We were excited when we first heard in 2020 that China is among the emerging coffee producers. We were only able to experience this coffee now (summer 2022) with other Chinese coffees and we are also happy that this coffee is a Catimor (Caturra and Timor hybrid) - finally we have found the qualified hybrid that winks at it, even though it is not yet the Quality Robusta we were looking for.

Sucafina also has an office and laboratory in Munaihe and seems to have paid off for its investment. On top of the durability and price advantage of the Timor variety, carefully grown and selected coffees present a different picture than we expected.

We are together with a balanced coffee with a spice note in its taste, lemon / apple at the bottom and sweetness in the foreground.

According to the SCA protocol, Sucafina and our score are: 84. We think it is a good start for a catimor to get to know Chinese coffees with surprisingly high quality and distinctive character.
